Description
A vine in the Apocynaceae family with a velvety downy covering and hairy flowers on the outside. The flowers have a broader tube and narrower lobes compared to related species.
Edible Uses
Echites panduratus is an important source of food in Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador. The plant's buds and flowers are used for cooking in a variety of ways, including in pupusas.
