Description

A very slender herb. There is usually only one slender leaflet. The flowers are few and pink. Probably now Astragalus ceramicus var. filifolius (A. Gray) F. J. Herm.

Edible Uses

The root is eaten.

Distribution

It is a temperate plant.

Kuwait, Middle East, North America, USA,

There are 2,000 Astragalus species.
