Description
It grows 5 m tall and has a trunk 30 cm across. It is considered a natural hybrid. The leaves are broad and sword shaped and taper to both ends. They are 80 cm long and 8 cm wide. The flowers are white. The fruit is fleshy and egg shaped.
Edible Uses
The fleshy fruit is edible.
Distribution
It is a subtropical plant. It grows in the Sonoran desert.

There are about 40 Yucca species. Also put in the family Agavaceae.
