Description
A woody vine. The leaves are large and simple. They are shiny green above and yellowish green underneath. The flowers are cream coloured and tube shaped and droop. The fruit are fleshy and purple.
Edible Uses
The fleshy purple fruit is eaten.
Distribution
A tropical plant. It grows in humid forests up to 3,000 m above sea level.
