A tropical fern in the family Aspleniaceae (also classified as Thelypteridaceae), one of about 800 Thelypteris species distributed across tropical and subtropical regions.

Edible Uses

The fronds and leaves are eaten.

Distribution

There are about 800 Thelypteris species. They grow in the tropics and subtropics. Also put in the family Thelypteridaceae.
