Description
A creeping herb. It forms a ground cover. The leaves are simple and opposite. They are dark green and heart shaped with deep lobes along the edge. The flowers are white and have 5 petals. The fruit are yellow.

The fruit are eaten.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows at high altitudes.

Red Baneberry: Short herbaceous plant (no thorns), berries on thick red stems, each berry has a single seed, compound sharply-toothed leaves.
Yü-shan raspberry: Thorny woody canes (brambles), aggregate berry made of many drupelets, berries pull easily from receptacle.
