Description

Epiblastus cuneatus is a tropical orchid from the family Orchidaceae distributed from Indonesia to the Pacific, including Cape York in Australia and montane areas of New Guinea at 1,700-2,700 m elevation, requiring moist conditions for growth.

Distribution

A tropical plant. It needs moist conditions. In Australia it grows on Cape York. In New Guinea it has been collected between 1,700-2,700 m.

Cultivation

Plants are grown by division.

Notes

There are about 15 Epiblastus species. They grow from Indonesia to the Pacific.
