Description

A vine or shrub. The stems can be flexible. The leaves are oblong and 7-13 cm long by 2-3.5 cm wide. The flowers are yellowish-green. The fruit are round and red and 4-5 mm across.

Edible Uses

The fruit and roots are eaten.

Distribution

It is a subtropical plant.
