Source: WikipediaLeptolaena delphinensis is a species of flowering plant in the Sarcolaenaceae family. It is found only in Madagascar. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
Description
A shrub or tree. It grows 3-10 m tall. The trunk is 20 cm across. The leaves are narrowly oval and 1.8-5.2 cm long by 0.8-3.2 cm wide. There are 10-50 flowers in a group near the ends of the branches. The fruit are broadly oval and 3-4 mm long by 2-3 mm wide.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows in humid coastal forest on sand.
