Source: WikipediaMyrceugenia planipes, known as Valdivia's patagua (Patagua de Valdivia) is an evergreen found in Chile and Argentina from 37 to 45°S. It occurs between 400 (1300) and 700 m (2300 ft) above sea level.
Description
A tree. It grows 8 m tall. There are many branches and they are hairy. Flowers can occur singly or in groups in the axils of leaves. The fruit is round and has many seeds.
Edible Uses
The fruit is eaten.
Medicinal Uses
It is used in popular medicine as remedy for skin diseases.
Distribution
It is a temperate plant.
