Description

Mycena galericulata, commonly known as the common bonnet or toque mycena, is a small mushroom with caps reaching up to 4 cm in diameter. The caps display distinct radial grooves and vary in color from grayish brown to dark brown, with shapes ranging from bell-like to conical. It has a hollow, white, thin stem and grows on wood in temperate regions.

Edible Uses

The mushroom fruiting body is edible.

It is a temperate plant.
