Mentzelia gracilenta, known by the common names blazing star, grass blazingstar, and slender blazing star, is a species of flowering plant in the family Loasaceae.

Description

A plant that grows 20-60 cm tall. The leaves at the base have lobes. The leaves on the stems are narrow and 13 cm long. There are 15-25 seeds in 2 rows.

Edible Uses

The seeds are edible.

Distribution

It is a temperate plant.
