Description
An upright shrub. Young shoots are hairy The leaves are 10 cm wide and have teeth around the edge. There are 4-7 flowers in clusters 3 cm long. The fruit are black berries.
Edible Uses
The fruit are eaten.
Distribution
It is a temperate plant. In Kazakhstan it grows along riverbanks.
