Description
A small shrub. It has a spreading rootstock that produces tufts of long narrow grass-like leaves. They taper to the tip and have a few teeth. The flowering stems have 1 flower. The flowers are 4-5 cm across.
Edible Uses
The flowers are eaten.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant.
