Description

A shrub or small tree. It grows 12 m tall. There is a soft brown covering over the leaves. The leaves are almost round and rough and about 20 cm across. The edges can be irregular or have shallow lobes.

Distribution

It is a subtropical plant. It grows in dry sunny places and in open forest between 2,300-2,600 m altitude in Taiwan.

There is only one Sinopanax species.
